A Christmas Carol

I seriously love Boston's school, it's so great. I love the teachers, the Co-op part, all the MANY fun activities they do-- I just love it all! Yesterday was Boston's last day before Christmas break and they put on a cute show. It's so funny to see him do all these things, I still can't believe I have a child that age! His hat cracked me up, too!

Clearly, she got bored. :)

Check out Boston's face in the picture below, is he serious??? He is such a little punk sometimes!

It was just so cute and I loved it. He sang "Go tell it on the Mountain." He has a pretty funny remix of it though, poor guy can never remember the words. I love him!

I realized I haven't updated since Halloween, whoops! We made the trip over to Spokane for Thanksgiving and of course, had a blast. I love Thanksgiving and black Friday shopping with my mom, it doesn't get any better! It honestly takes me a couple days to recover! I'm so excited for Christmas this year ESPECIALLY because Jeff's parent's came home from their 23 month mission from Samoa. They got home on the 11th and I SO wish we were at the airport but we decided Christmas with them would be better. So we fly to Utah Christmas day and stay until New Years Eve. I seriously can't wait to see them and hang in Midway. Christmas is truly my favorite time of the year!!

Halloween

Halloween was such a blast this year! I didn't have any babies to carry around while trick-or-treating. It was quite nice. Reese was the cutest little Cat Woman with her brother being Venom (naughty Spider-man as he calls it). They were the cutest villains around. We started trick-or-treating at 4:30 and didn't stop until 8. We went to the Millcreek town square, our ward trunk or treat, then some more around our house. It's always so fun at the end of the night to dump all the candy out and see how much you got. I loved doing that when we were little.

Reese's smile really cracks me up. She is so cute and pretty but when she does that smile she looks a little...special. Nonetheless, I love that pirate smile. I took all this candy and separated it into some big jars around the house...I still have like 2 full ones left. Jeff and I love digging in once the kids are asleep. Halloween is such a blast when the kids are a little older to walk around!!

18 month old Reese

My sweet cheeks is 18 months old! I would say that time is flying and I feel she was born yesterday, but the truth is, is that she a difficult little girl...so time isn't really flying! I know that this age is hard because of teeth, she REALLY wants to talk but isn't quite all the way there yet, wants to be big and do everything Boston does, her cute little feet are aren't fast as her body so she trips a lot when running...poor girl. AND this girl can cry!

I do love her so so much, and she is so fun, but she isn't easy. Boston was a breeze compared to her! I talked to her Dr. about the screaming and crying, and my Dr. just said it's probably because she can't express herself yet...so c'mon little girl, let's learn to talk!!

Look at this girl, I mean, how could you not want to kiss those rosey cheeks??

Some fun facts about Reese...
She can say mommyyy, da da, Buh-bye, Hiiii, shoes, baby, airplane, dog, ball (everything that is round is a ball to her), nuh uh (no), uh huh (yes), Hello, ouch
Obsessed with shoes, like obsessed.
If I put a coat on her in the morning, it HAS to stay on all day or she'll throw a fit.
Hasn't tried juice yet--she doesn't want anything but water in her sippy, fine by me!
When hungry, she runs to her highchair and screams until we put her in it.
Loves her dad so so much.
Boston and her play so well together. They are for sure two peas in a pod.
Really loves "reading" books.
Any animal is a dog to her.
She thinks her crib is a trampoline.
It cracks me up when she colors, I mean she goes all out.
Bed time is FOR sure play time to her.
She looks so cute when she runs, I think that's the best about this age.
She will be our child that may or may not play well with others.
Loathes nursery
Can't remember her height and weight, but I remember her percentiles...over 100 percentile in height, and 92 percentile for weight.
and is loved by so many.

We are so grateful for this little, we love her so much.

Boston will be 4 next month! I can't believe that!

The cutest little preschooler around!!!

I still can't believe Boston's old enough for school! I'm a little sad about it to be honest, but I'll get over it. I totally got lucky in finding this Co-op program. I LOVE it. It really is perfect for us. They have a nursery that moms can use when we are volunteering and Reese just goes in there when I'm upstairs in Boston's class. I just volunteer once a month in the nursery. It really fits our needs perfectly right now. We went to his first day of school, and then headed to Spokane right after his class for my little sister's wedding!

She was too cute on the car ride to Spokane. I think when she smiles like this, I see a lot of Jeff in her. He says the complete opposite.

My sister's wedding was completely gorgeous. It was such a fun week. SUPER busy. I love Zach, they are great for each other. I'll have pictures when Allie get's them from the photographer. The only complaint I have, is that I wish it was like 20 degrees cooler. It was so hot, and I had a long sleeve dress...with tights on. I was sweating.so.much.

More school pictures because he just looked too cute.

When they take pictures like this together, I think he chokes her a little bit...

I sure love these two babies so much. Life is really great right now, truly couldn't be better.

Sleepless in Seattle!!

I feel like life isn't settling down just yet! It's ok, life is suppose to be busy with two littles. After taking a trip to Ikea, we unpacked our last boxes last week sometime...took long enough! I LOVE our new home. It's perfect for what we want and it's not apartment living...which is always a plus. Anyway, I love it. So to catch up on some things...

Jeff taught Boston how to ride a bike. Boston's kind of funny, we tried at age 2 but he didn't get it then, like he couldn't understand what to do. I guess he has Jeff's genes :) Jeff was determined this time around and he finally figured it out. Thank goodness because he thinks it's great! He asks all the time to go ride his bike. He's getting more daring...like going really fast, and taking sharp corners going too fast. Ha ha it's cute tho.
I also (on a whim) took Reese's pacifier away! I knew I was going to when we moved to Seattle, but I couldn't plan on when I was going to do it, like it was too stressful to plan a time to take it away. So, one morning I woke up and was done! Poor girl didn't know what was coming. She whined more before bed, but that's expected. She never really 'screamed' for it tho. It was an easy transition I think. It helped that I was determined to do it so the thought of giving in wasn't even on my mind.
We had our family visit last week, too! It was so fun. We loooove Dave and Staci. They are our favs! Staci had never been here so I hope she thought it was cool. :) Madi sure wanted to move here because of all the seashells she found. They did a lot of things in the city and then stayed with us for the weekend. We went to the Zoo and a lot of beaches.

This is Boston's room, check out that really cool bookshelf on the wall. I love Ikea for this. It's perfect for the kids to grab any book. Love it.

Seriously, so pretty. We went to a Mariners game with Dave and Staci, this was our view from the Stadium.

I can't even tell you how excited I am for this upcoming week!!! My little sis is getting married. I am just so excited. I guess you could call me her wedding planner, but I really do enjoy it. Here are some things for the wedding...

So this was at the Doctors office yesterday. It was an adventure to say the least. I took Boston there so get his back checked. For a year now, he's had a bump that looked like a bruise on his lower back. I thought it was time to take him and get it checked. We found out it's a cyst. Not cancerous, just a cyst. It could potentially get infected but that's about it. But while we were waiting, these two little ones decided they should spin on the doctors chair. Well, that ended with Reese falling flat on the ground with her face meeting a chair. She had a swollen face and bruise to prove it. Ug, it was fun. Anyway, it's always busy with children.

Heading to Spokane Monday for the wedding! Yay!!
